Latest Newsletter 26th March 2010

We raised an amazing 83.91 for Sports Relief. Thank-you for your support - the non-stop 5-a-side football match was a great success!

Just to remind you that we return from the Easter Break on Monday 12th April 2010. There are lots of activities taking place over the Easter holidays some of which I have detailed on the reverse of this letter. If your child is entitled to Free School Meals please can I remind you that you can access funding for these activities for further details please contact Mrs McAteer.

Mrs Ellen Spencer and Mrs Pauline Dennis are both retiring today, Friday 26th March 2010. Pauline has been based in the Speech and Language department at Clapham Terrace for 6 years and Ellen has been cleaning and taking good care of our school for an amazing 29 years! We wish them both a very happy retirement and will miss seeing them around the place.

A big thank-you to those who supported the Garden Working Party on Sunday 21st March. The outdoor areas have been transformed and in a few months will be bursting with colour. We really do appreciate your hard work.

May I wish you all a Happy and restful Easter and I look forward to everyone returning for a busy and exciting summer term on Monday 12th April.  To download a full copy of the newsletter click here

Why we love Clapham Terrace

Our school is a place where you feel welcome and the teachers are very understanding.  My favourite subject is PE, we have a football team, a netball team and a team that represents school at Cross Country events. - Nassi Year 5

Fundraising at Clapham Terrace

We have a strong support network of staff and parents who are dedicated to raising extra funds to buy the things that school budgets can't stretch to.  From redesigning the school library to making over the playground the HSA (PTA) are always on the look out for new fundraising ideas.
