We have heard from our intrepid travellers who are currently in Bo. Mrs Bailey and Mrs Garrett are forging some great links with our partner school and contrary to the UK their weather is ‘very hot’! Boris (year 1’s bear) is enjoying his travels along with six other bears and has been appropriately nicknamed ‘Bo’ for short.
They are due to arrive back in the United Kingdom next week and we will look forward to hearing all about their experiences when they return to school on the 28th February, 2011.
We have had confirmation from County Caters that on the 28th April 2011, to celebrate the Royal Wedding, we are able to serve a Celebration Buffet Lunch. This is fantastic news as we were planning to hold a street-style party as a culmination to our Arts Week. As we would like all children to take part in this event we will be providing lunch on the day for everyone at no charge.
Unfortunately we have received a complaint from a local resident with regard to drop off and collection of children. Our local PCSO’s have been informed and ask us to remind you to be considerate of other road users and also of our school neighbours. To download a full copy of the newsletter click here.
Our before and after school club is available for children from 8 am until 6 pm. Sessions start from £3.50. For more information visit our page or call 07813006964 for more details
I love our playground, especially the climbing frame and the climbing wall. I also like doing maths, learning to count on and count backwards. Reception was really good too because of all the playing and fun we had. - Sam, Yr 1
We have a strong support network of staff and parents who are dedicated to raising extra funds to buy the things that school budgets can't stretch to. From redesigning the school library to making over the playground the HSA (PTA) are always on the look out for new fundraising ideas.
