Learning resources for parents

This section of our website is aimed at helping you as parents and carers to support your children in their learning.  We will place links here to useful websites and also upload presentations and handouts from any workshops we run in school.  If you have any questions about the resources here or about how we approach learning within the school then please don't hesitate to come and talk to your class teacher or make an appointment to see Mrs Miles.

The school uses Letters and Sounds as the basis for teaching phonics.

Our main reading scheme is Oxford Reading Tree

This is supplemented with books from other schemes which are then book branded using Cliff Moon's reading levels.

We have made a series of videos to help you understand how to support your child with reading at home.

Fundraising at Clapham Terrace

We have a strong support network of staff and parents who are dedicated to raising extra funds to buy the things that school budgets can't stretch to.  From redesigning the school library to making over the playground the HSA (PTA) are always on the look out for new fundraising ideas.
