How to Get in touch

Get involved

The Home School Association (HSA) at Clapham is the name we give to the PTA. It is a fantastic organisation that exists to raise funds for school for things that enable your child to have an enriched education at Clapham. In the past we have funded the astro turf, Carl’s Kitchen, The MESS (dedicated art and science room), art workshops and materials, theatre trips, class educational visits, puppet shows, dance workshops, Freestyle football, musical instruments, the trim trail and the kick board, to name but a few!

Our other reason to exist is to organise some fantastic events for the families of Clapham to enjoy. But as you can imagine, these events need lots of people to help to make them happen.

We would love you to get involved! We like to have a representative from each year group on the committee, but then we also need volunteers just to help on the day of the event, maybe on the refreshment stall for 30 minutes or to clear away tables and chairs at the end. Every little contribution in both time and money is really appreciated. Why not come our half termly meetings to find out a little more, it won’t mean you are then obliged to be on the committee. We need fresh faces to get involved as you will bring new ideas with you for both events and what to spend the money on.

AGM and half termly meetings

We hold an Annual General Meeting in September every year, which is a chance to hear about the successes of the previous academic year’s events, appoint new committee members and look forward to the year ahead.

We also hold half termly meetings, normally on a Monday at 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome.
