Clapham Terrace Primary and Nursery School is at the heart of the community of the Old Town of Leamington Spa. With a history of more than 125 years we have a rich heritage serving the local people of the area.
We are now a thriving multi-cultural school supporting children from diverse backgrounds to learn together and learn from each other as they start out and progress on their educational journey.
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

There is lots of information on this site about our school and our work but if you would like further information about anything then you can call or email the office to make an appointment to visit us. Clapham Terrace is a community school and we take that very much to heart in our approach to working with the children and their families and the extended community.
Clapham Terrace is a high-performing school. Everyone takes great pride in their work and staff put pupils first. Leaders and governors have worked effectively to bring about many significant improvements.
“As soon as one enters the building, which seems to have been through the educational equivalent of a “Grand Designs” makeover, one begins to appreciate that school leaders, in conjunction with the Governing Body have had the vision, drive and prioritisation of funding to transform the once typical school into a setting which provides bespoke spaces, systems and processes to meet the diverse needs of the community. Every facet of the school’s practice is crisp and cohesive, the caretaker ensures that every area looks clean and inviting.” – Inclusion Mark Report June 2017
