Exciting Exhibition Coming to School

We are really excited to be hosting an exhibition as part of Black History Month. During the week beginning the 20th October, schools from the local area will be visiting to view our children’s learning about local prominent black people, including legendary boxer Randolph Turpin, actor Earl Cameron CBE and ex mayor of Leamington Spa Mota Singh.

Parents, family and members of the local community are most welcome to share the children’s learning on Thursday 20th October 2011 from 3.30pm—6pm. There will refreshments kindly provided by the Home School Association. A big thank you to Liz Garrett and Shearon Williams for organising this wonderful event.

Back to Roman Times

On Wednesday our Year 3 had a fantastic trip to Lunt Fort at Baginton. Theo commented ‘ I thought it was really good as the man explained about the buildings and the costumes. The best bit was when Charlie dressed up as a Roman Centurion. The best thing I learnt was about the caltrop which injury the Celts’. A big thank you to Mrs Bailey and Mrs McArthur for organising an inspirational trip.

Fundraising at Clapham Terrace

We have a strong support network of staff and parents who are dedicated to raising extra funds to buy the things that school budgets can't stretch to.  From redesigning the school library to making over the playground the HSA (PTA) are always on the look out for new fundraising ideas.
