It was fantastic to see so many of you at the recent performances. Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 were just fantastic and I think you will join me in congratulating them all for their hard work and also to thank the staff for organising such wonderful productions.
Than you for also taking the time to comment as you left - I would agree that the Christmas production is a priceless start to the Christmas season.
I would also like to thank Jude for accompanying the final song on the piano and Granny Pam who helped with the costumes and stage set.
DVD's are available to purchase from the HSA, (1 for £4 and 3 for £10 - you can order via the school office but orders need to be received by the end of Monday 12th December).
Your generous donations as you left raised £103.74 - thank you very much as these funds are vital to assist future productions.
We are organising a Business Enterprise Week in March 2012 therefore we thought we would contact you early to ascertain if you have any spare time and are available to come into school and talk about yourrole in your work place. You may have your own business and are able to share your experiences with the children. We are hoping to attract some of our local businesses to also come into school. If your place of work would be willing to host some young visitors during the week then could you let us know so that we can contact them officially. The week will be filled with fun ideas and a Young Apprentice class competition. If you are able to assist please can you contact Mrs McAteer in the office.
Lots more to come still this term - visit our events page to find out what's going in next week!
Our before and after school club is available for children from 8 am until 6 pm. Sessions start from £3.50. For more information visit our page or call 07813006964 for more details
Clapham Terrace is a great school where I have seen my son grow both academically and socially. Thanks to a dedicated staff and an active parent body, Clapham Terrace school stands out as both a place of learning and as a social community. - Parent to year 1 pupil
We have a strong support network of staff and parents who are dedicated to raising extra funds to buy the things that school budgets can't stretch to. From redesigning the school library to making over the playground the HSA (PTA) are always on the look out for new fundraising ideas.
